My Story:


This multi-talented aritst has had more than 100,000 downloads from his many online music websites,
including myspace.com, download.com, music hype online, mp3.com, rollingstone, IUMA, new music reporter,
even tonos.com! Still that's just some of the online exposure this Bronx, New York-native Donnavin J a.k.a.
Don JayMor has captured since 1999. He is a R&B singer/songwriter, but most of all a performer.
At the tender age of 12, Dj began recording music - singing since he was 9 years old.
From singing with his 6th grade teachers gospel choir, to taking part in choruses and groups through junior
high school and high school, music has always been a passion for the baritone-vocalist.
As a jazz/gospel vocal student in high school Dj learned technique and styles,
while finding influence in great singers like Sarah Vaughn, but also through his up-bringing familiar
to the sounds of Luther Vandross, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, and many others.
Dj participated in school music events and opportunities including an internship with Music Gives
Workshop that took place at Universal Music Group in New York City. With his high school's jazz chorus
and gospel choir, Dj has performed at places all over NYC including Lincoln Center, the Metropolitan Opera House,
the MetLife building, Jacobi Hospital, Lehman College, the Botanical Garden, the NYC Board of Ed.,
the Museum of Natural History, plus many others. By the time Dj hit 18 and graduated high school,
while entering college, he began performing at local open mic and showcase events. In places like club Downtime,
club Speed, Iguana lounge, Ibiza lounge, the Cutting Room, Chetty Red, Madame X, most recently the Hammerstein
Ballroom, and plenty of other lounges and bars.

Dj's collaboartions include work with Tristate Inventory Productions, D-Block MC Fahim, Q-York Ent.'s T.H.E. Menace,
Germany-based production groups OPS Promotions, Cosa Nostra & Bella Mafia, his team @ Kingz Throne Media -
Just Iz & GameOva, and City Of Mudd Record's producer/artist Rezun. Dj's new CD "Black CHild" is set for release
late October of this year. Featuring HOT songs you may have heard already including "Dance Wit' Me," "Jumpin,"
"Club Temptress," and many more!!! The project will also feature collaborations with Cosa Nostra, Bella Mafia,
Fetti Entertainment, City of Mudd, Yano of Sexy Urban Crew, Just Iz, & more -
