My Story:


Yasha. Born in Japan, but raised on American Rock & Roll . From chopsticks to drumsticks, Yasha's love for music ranges from the deep cultural music
of his land to the rythmic sounds of dance music. From the arena rock ballads of the 80's & 90's to today's pop top 40's radio,
Yasha knows music. But it was Rock & Roll that moved him and become a part of his life – living and breathing the music.
It wasn't until the age 18 that something changed Yasha's life. Once again it was music. In particular, a song by Natalie, called “Goin' Crazy”.
Yasha had found R & B music. The smooth melodies, the chill beats, the soothing voices. That's all he needed. But he needed more...
Yasha began to search for R & B songs through various ways, at the same time burning compilations of the tracks that he had thought was cool.
And so did his friends. As a matter of fact, the more he shared, the more they cared.
By feeding his own R & B addiction, he was also fulfilling that of his friend's and this brought a new meaning to music for Yasha.
He began a daily mission to collect as many great songs as possible.
On a recent trip to San Diego, he met DJ Sas, whom introduced Yasha to a web site that focused on R&B music called Migies-Edition.
There, he has met new and interesting people, all while exploring the music of the world.

As an official member of the M-E Promotional Team,
Yasha looks to broaden the site's audience and overall musical style by introducing the world to the talents of Japanese R & B artists.
