My Story:


DJ Benihana reigns from the Seattle-Tacoma area and grew up in the streets of the eastside of Tacoma,
Washington where instead of attending classes, 'Benny' "smoked alot of weed" and "just kicked it alot" at friends' houses.
"My homeboy Chris "Big Twist" was givin a pair of Technics, an old DJ Jazzy Jeff ScratchMaster mixer, and two crates full
of early 90's R&B and Hip Hop vinyls from his uncle. I've had the RNB Addiction since the 80's, so this was perfect for me!
Just about everyday after school, and sometimes during, a group of like, 13 of us went to Twist's crib and just chilled.
The tables were just there to play with if there wasn't any girls around."
"Anyways, that was like back in '93 and a year later I picked up my own set of decks and been doin' it ever since."
He currently display's his skills in the studios as well as on the decks and boards as a profound remix DJ,
dedicates a mass amount of time and energy into promoting unsigned artists,and still enjoys the occasional club gig.

DJ Benihana is also the creator of the RNB Addiction Series.
A mixtape series of R&B infused music that is designed to help promote hot new songs by hot new artists.
